Joker is referred to as the most dangerous killer in the world due to his unique psychoses
Ducks an arrow shot at him from the expert archer Splitshot then takes him down (Salvation Run #2)
Infinite Crisis #7:
Alex Luthor, the mastermind behind Infinite Crisis and much of the events that led to it, had his plans foiled and lost his powers, but he managed to escape to Gotham and is already plotting his next move. Unfortunately for him, he is found by Joker and mainstream Lex Luthor. The latter apparently revealed earlier to the killer clown that Alex was behind the Society. So, Joker, gets his revenge on Alex Luthor big time under bald Luthor's amused eyes, showing that not even someone who can plan & enact universe-threatening schemes is safe from the killer clown's vengeance
Outsiders v3 #3:
Lures President Luthor into a trap taking him hostage then tortures him until the Outsiders come to the rescue however Joker is still able make his escape already having come up with a plan
Beats Lex Luthor in a brutal melee combat battle and looks like he was about to finish Luthor off before their battle is interrupted (Salvation Run #6)
DC 1st Batgirl/Joker:
Joker escapes Batgirl after attempting freefall to his death tricking Batgirl into rescuing him then kicking her in the head while still in midair thus taking her down and easily escaping
Afterwards, he lures her into a deathtrap of lasers as Batgirl just narrowly escapes with her life almost being caught in an explosion
Due to his insanity as Batman points out, Batgirl is unable to read his body language and is beaten up by the Joker. Although later on Batgirl manages to defeat him by telling him how his jokes aren't funny (a weakness of his) getting him mad and focused so Batgirl could knock him out
Deathstroke The Terminator #58:
Deathstroke comes to kill the Joker but discovers that a trap has already been set for him by the Clown who has bodyguards waiting for Deathstroke that are able to subdue him long enough to toss Slade into the river chained up
Deathstroke returns defeating Joker's guards impressing Joker enough to the point where he compares Slade's skills to Batman's own abilities. Nevertheless, the Joker is still able to outsmart Deathstroke by taking a hostage then nailing Slade with a poisonious dart putting him into a coma for 38 hours and leaving the antidote behind allowing Deathstroke to live
Legends of the DC Universe #26-27:
Joker does a pretty decent job of fighting Aquaman although he's defeated
Not knowing who the Joker is, Aquaman believes Joker's story about being the king of the surface world and is largely accepted by Atlantis as a hero as he even helps them solve some of their problems
Scheming to rule Atlantis for himself, the Joker has Aquaman dethroned as king of Atlantis turning his own Atlantian people against him
In his last battle with Aquaman, he shoots Aquaman with his joker toxin taking him down however it turns out Aquaman has received the antidote from Batman (having visited him in this issue earlier for help) thus enabling him to quickly get back up and soon afterwards defeat the Clown Prince
Booster Gold v2 #5:
Sent back in time to prevent the shooting of Barbara Gordon (Oracle) at the hands of the Joker, Booster Gold is immediately ambushed and captured by Joker's henchmen then taunted by Joker as he's brought back to his lair
Booster later escapes Joker's trap but proves unable to stop the Joker from crippling Barbara Gordon time and time again no matter how many times he attempts to go back and rescue her. It's later revealed by Rip that it was Barbara's fate to be crippled by the Joker so that she would become Oracle which is the reason why Joker is able to beat Booster every time no matter what
Aztek #6-7:
Blackmails genius scientist Fixit into creating high tech cricket robots for him intended to spread a electric joker like virus in Vanity City
Meets Vanity's hero Aztek and sends him on a wild goose chase around the city to find the crickets that he planted which cause people to see cruel illusions. Aztek is successful in foiling Joker's plan however Joker reveals it was only step one of his grandmaster plan.
This time he takes Vanity City hostage spreading his high tech crickets all around the city and through the electric system causing what Batman says to be an electronic version of the Joker toxin he uses. In addition, Joker has put a bomb inside of a blimp mixed with joker toxin however his plan is again foiled by the combined teamwork of Aztek and Batman
Brave & the Bold v3 #27:
Plotting to kill Batman
Appears to nearly succeed in killing Batman who's seems to be too worn out to escape the explosive death trap or stop it but instead ends up killing a new super hero Travers Milton (who uses the H-Dial to become The Star and is given a similar physical powerset to Superman but obviously not as powerful) who sacrifices himself to save Batman and the hostages dying a hero
Kills Iron Cross (Salvation Run #3)
Kills a Parademon with ease (Salvation Run #7)
Scares the former rookie Green Lantern Kyle Rayner out of Arkham Asylum
Joker quickly and easily kills Psimon (high level telepath/telekinetic) with a mere rock then takes control over the other villians (Salvation Run #2)
The Atom goes inside the Joker's brain to save his life but is effected by his chaotic memories so much that he starts to take on his personality (Brave & the Bold v3 #31)
Joker is able to resist and no-sell the mental attack of a criminal that, in a previous issue, was able to terrorize Manhunter and cause her amnesia (Birds Of Prey #121)
JLA #15:
Steals the Philosophers Stone by switching the real one with a fake (which Luthor has) then causes massive destruction and chaos across the world
Martian Manhunter is able to make the Joker sane and with Luthor's help convince him to undo the damage done to the world and had over the stone. However, Martian Manhunter is only able to control the Joker for so long due to the insanity of his mind being so strong that its similar to a raging storm
Wonder Woman #96-97
When a gang war takes place in Boston, aka the city WW protects, Joker gets involved and "offer" his services to Mrs Sazia (aka the chief of one of the warring factions). The killer clown surely doesn't waste time, and the number of his victims rises
While Diana intervenes, Sazia's rival (aka Paulie Longo) assembles a great number of killers to handle the Joker. But the clown just paralyzes Wonder Woman with one of his venoms, while Longo's killers all drop dead in front of their boss, likely having been injected with a slow-acting version of Joker's signature's poison
In the end, Diana has to mentally ask the help of Pan the god and have him make her as mad as the Joker, in order to break free and turn the tables on the clown
(the bomb Joker is attached to ends up exploding, but both WW and, somehow, Joker manage to survive, the latter escaping off-panels)
Superman v2 #9:
Using a Superman dummy robot he steals a diamond then threatens to blow up Metropolis with a thermal bomb planted inside the robot leaving Superman no choice but to fly it into space ASAP but as a result the bomb takes a huge effect on the Man of Steel leaving him extremely exhusted as he collapses from the explosion
Recovered from the effects of the bomb, Superman receives a message from the Joker that Lois, Jimmy, and Perry White have been kidnapped been hidden in a secret location unfortunely his plan doesn't work out quite well as Superman quickly finds the hide out foiling the Joker's plan
Action Comics #714:
Plants toy robots with bombs with Superman narrowly foiling his plan in time but as a follow up he releases what he calls "Mighty Martian Powee Rangers" to subdue Superman which they are temporarily succeessful in doing so long enough for Joker to use decoys to make his escape
Action Comics #719:
In order to make Superman pay for interferring in his "business" some time earlier, Joker decides to destroy the Man of Steel. A Joker's doll the killer clown sent previously to Lois as a sort of souvenir poisons her, sending her in a coma on the verge of death.
Then, when Superman and Batman (whom Supes asked help to) arrive in his cell at Arkham to force him to hand them the antidote, he hands them a syringe with stuff that would have produced antibodies when injected to Joker, but killing him in the process. So, Kal would have been guilty of taking a life, violating his own principles, thus morally destroying him.
Luckily, Bats manages to make Supes reason, otherwise not only the Man of Steel would have killed a man, but he would have done so with no reason at all. In fact, it turns out the venom that poisoned Lois would have just sent her in apparent death, only for her to come back later to life without any antibodies needed
Action Comics #765:
Using a high tech camera that somehow leaves a lot of Metropolis citizens bald
Sicks his hyenas on Superman distracting him temporarily until Superman gets serious
Uses a seemingly powerful baby blimp thats able to put Superman down with Luthor being the one to shut it down
Joker having democratic immunity from Qurac makes his escape with President Luthor being unable to stop him. When Superman attempts to do so as well, Joker reveals his escape plan forcing Superman to let him go
Booby traps Luthor's holographic projector device with kryptonite paint seriously hurting Superman (Justice League of America v2 #14)
Hourman #16:
Tricks Snapper Carr into giving up his Justice League access key by disguising himself as someone else after saving him from a beating
Ambushes the league and brainwashes Martian Manhunter and Flash (Barry Allen) into fighting one another using Kanjar Ro's weaponry (stealing it from the league) although his plan is foiled by Batman and J'onn, he gets in the last laugh by throwing around some scathing remarks to Bruce
Titans East Special:
Tricks Bizarro into helping him take on the New Teen Titans while holding a singer hostage with Bizarro taking care of Starfire, Cyborg, and Wondergirl (Donna Troy).
After losing his hostage and having his "gun" stolen by Kid Flash its revealed its not really a gun at all but instead a bomb to Kid Flash's surprise which temporarily takes Kid Flash out of the fight
Raven attempts to cloud his mind with his worse fears but it backfires on her as Joker happens to find his worse nightmares funny
Finally the Teen Titans manage to put an end to things after Wally comes back with blue kryptonite (apart of Robin's plan to defeat Bizarro) which puts Bizarro down leaving Joker's plan foiled
Infinite Crisis #2:
Singlehandedly kills the former Royal Flush Gang for revenge against the Society (which assembled most of DC's notorius super villains) for not getting an invitation only to discover the reason was due to the fact that he can't be controlled
Deimos, the greek god of Terror, is possessing the Joker, but the clown's madness is too much for the god, who is overcome by it (Wonder Woman v2 #166)
Spectre v3 51:
Spectre attempts to stop the Joker by invading his mind but is quickly overwhelmed due to being weakened and as Joker puts it being on his turf
Joker now the host of the Spectre force goes on a rampage playing around with Batman and Jim Corrigan but its because of this that he's defeated by Jim Corrigan who regains control over the Spectre temporarily putting Joker's mind into ruin
JLA v3 #35:
Martian Manhunter takes the Spectre (Hal Jordan) and the JLA inside the mind of the Joker which is consumed by utter chaos almost overwhelming all of them but they also find out that even the Joker has a spark of goodness/light left inside his soul
